Happily ever after

When my friends, a beautiful Trinidadian woman and a dashing man from New Jersey, decided to tie the knot in a courthouse wedding, I knew it was going to be an event worth capturing. And as a professional photographer (and a bit of a camera hoarder), I made sure to bring along my trusty Fuji X-T3 to snap some candid shots of the happy couple.

The courthouse itself was unassuming, but the love and excitement in the room was palpable. The bride radiated joy in her stunning sleek white gown, while the groom couldn't wipe the grin off his face as he looked at his soon-to-be wife. Though there were quite a few fiances in the room - focusing on Kristen and Matt made the ceremony feel intimate and emotional, with a few quiet tears and a whole lot of love.

As the newlyweds exchanged vows and sealed their union with a kiss, I manage to capture the moment, freezing it in time for them to treasure forever. But the real magic happened after the ceremony, when the couple stepped outside and were greeted with a gorgeous but windy day.

Now I should mention - as soon as I arrived, one of our friends whispered to me "Kristen has to go to the ER right after this." I was admittedly nervous for her and absoluely worried, but looking at her - you saw no pain. Just love.

It was a beautiful and unique celebration of love and diversity, and I was honored to be there to capture it all. The couple's love for each other was evident in every candid shot, and I'm excited to share them with the world. Their love story is an inspiration for all the future generations and I'm sure it will stand the test of time.

The couple took a few minutes for themselves as we walked across to the city square. It was a sight to see the bride and groom holding hands, walking and talking together and taking in the moment. The pictures I captured during their moments after are some of the most beautiful and candid shots I've ever taken.

After we gathered them under a gazebo for their first photos, it was time to say goodbye. It was a beautiful and emotional day, and I was honored to be there to capture it all.

Congrats to the happy couple, and here's to many more years of love and happiness! It was an honor to be a part of their special day, and I wish them all the happiness in the world.
